.Perennial; stems 20-60 cm, adpressed-canescent, woody at base, densely leafy below, sparingly leafy and branched above. Lower leaves pinnatisect, segments and undivided upper leaves linear, 5-60 x 1-2 mm, with revolute margin. Capitula borne in corymbs; branchlets (peduncles) 1.5-8 cm. Involucre ovate-oblong, 12-15 x 6-10 mm; phyllaries c. 5-seriate, lanceolate, strongly adpressed, not spiny, with prominent dark keel (median nerve). Flowers lilac-pink. Achenes 6 mm, coronulate, smooth. Pappus hairs scabrous, slightly longer than achenes. Fl. 7-9. Hillsides, rocky slopes, steppe and fields, 1400-2500 m.This villa is situated in the peace place Barat with other vilas.
